Knit a Xmas Stocking & Learn Colourwork-with Jenn 4 weeks

^{Learn the art and science of colourwork while choosing your own adventure with multiple options to make Xmas stockings. The pattern has a few lovely techniques that you will love learning. There are so many motifs to choose from, you could make one for each person on your holiday list and never do the same pattern twice!}

Skill Level: Intermediate and Beyond

• Crafts comfortably with a variety of techniques, can follow more complex patterns

Pattern Provided:

• Cascade Christmas Stocking by Marji LaFreniere

Recommended Supplies:

• Aran/worsted weight yarn to reach gauge:
  • Highland alpaca worsted and or tweed
  • Haynes Creek Aran 100% wool
  • Briggs and Little Heritage or Regal 100% wool
  • Cascade 220 Worsted 100% wool
• Notions/Needles: 
  • 4.5mm 16" circular needle and double pointed for the decreases-or a longer circular needle if you prefer magic loop technique 
  • Stitch markers
  • Darning needle

Class Notes:

• ALL of our classes are IN PERSON only.
• Preparation: Be sure to come prepared and ready to start the class when you arrive. Use the attached class prep checklist to be ready to get the absolute most out of your class at Three Bags Full.
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there 10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
