Learn Mosaic Knitting with Jenn: 4 weeks

Mosaic is a great place to start yor colourwork journey. As a proficient beginner you will be using 5 colours of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton, this Mosaic cowl will be an absolute joy to learn to make and to wear. It is knit in the round and we will modify the pattern to make it shorter than the original while still learning lots and practicing many mosaic stitches. So the yardage required would be half of the printed pattern. We have kits made with the Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton.

DK weight yarn in 5 colors (total of 786 yards/719 m), 3.75 mm and 4.0 mm circular needles or size required to achieve guage. The cowl is about 10 inches wide by 26 inches around. 

Materials:

• 1 Kit of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton
• 24 inch 3.75mm and 4.0mm circular needles, stitch markers and tapestry needles 

Skill Level:

Proficient Beginner: Have tried this craft before and have completed a few projects. 

Class Notes:

• ALL of our classes are IN PERSON only.
• You will receive a class preparation checklist when you register for class, so that you can get the most out of your class time.
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there ~10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
