Learn to Hook Rugs with Cathy: 3 Weeks

Rug hooking from start to finish. In this 3 week course we will learn the basics of rug hooking, how to start, backings to use, hooks, techniques and finishing. Everything you need to complete your project is included in the class fee - pattern on backing, a hook, a hoop, and materials enough to complete the rug. We will finish this rug with how to "frame" and finish with steaming, binding and hanging. No experience required except a love of all things fibre!

Skill Level:

Beginner: Perfect for those who have never done this craft before.

Class Notes:

• This class is IN PERSON at the shop

• Preparation: Be sure to come prepared and ready to start the class when you arrive. If you'd like help with yarn selection and supplies, drop by the shop in advance, and we'll be happy to assist.
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there ~10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
