Learn to Make Felted Slippers with Anne: 4 weeks

Learn to knit cozy, custom-fit felted slippers in this hands-on class. We'll guide you through the process of knitting oversized slipper shapes and transforming them into snug, stylish footwear through the magic of felting. Discover tips for sizing and shaping your slippers to make them uniquely yours. Perfect for gift-giving or keeping your own toes toasty!

Skill Level: Intermediate and Beyond

Perfect for those who have done lots of projects and are fluent in pattern reading. This is a perfect class if you are looking for the perfect gift idea to make for everyone. They are like chips, you can't make just one pair.

Pattern Provided:

• The Felted Clog pattern, by Fibre Trends is included in your class fee and will be attached to your ravelry account when you come in to pick up the printed pattern and purchase your materials.

Recommended Supplies:

• Cascade 220 worsted or Gathering Yarns Haynes Creek Aran or Eco Scandinavian Chunky (2 skeins for the sole and cuff, and 1 skein for the instep)
• 9 mm 24” circular needle
• 12 large stitch markers to fit over the 9mm needles
• 4 removable stitch markers
• A highlighter, notepad, pencil, and scissors
  

Class Notes:

• ALL of our classes are IN PERSON only.
• You will receive a class preparation checklist when you register for class, so that you can get the most out of your class time.
• Ball Winding: Please have your yarn wound into a cake (yes we can do this when you get the yarn at the shop). You will be holding 2 strands together and this is necessary in order to keep the yarn organized while knitting the slippers. Trust us, its super helpful
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there ~10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
