Learn to make The Worlds Simplest Mittens with Jenn: 4 Weeks

Sometimes winter catches you by surprise and you need a pair of mittens, quick! These are a perfect quick knit or a blank canvas for mitten fun!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

• Have tried this craft before and can do basic projects

Pattern Provided:

• The Worlds Simplest Mittens by Tin Can Knits

Recommended Supplies:

Yarn
worsted weight: 90 (100, 130, 160, 200) yards
Needles
worsted: US #5 / 3.75mm and US #7 / 4.5mm
DPNs in both sizes or long 32" circulars for magic loop (or as required to meet gauge)

Notions
darning needle, stitch marker

Recommendations:

Cascade 220, Haynes Creek Aran, Malabrigo Rios, Highland Alpaca & Tweed, Briggs & Little Heritage-all are 100% wool. Your hands will stay warm even if your mittens get wet. But be careful not to shrink them in the washer or dryer-hand wash only.  

Vintage and Estelle Wool Blends, Cascade 220 superwash-for regular washability

Class Notes:

• ALL of our classes are IN PERSON only.
• Preparation: Be sure to come prepared and ready to start the class when you arrive. Use the attached class prep checklist to be ready to get the absolute most out of your class at Three Bags Full.
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there 10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
