Léttlopi

Léttlopi is a highly versatile yarn. It is equivalent in thickness to half a Álafosslopi. Léttlopi garments are lovely to wear both indoors and outdoors. Great for felting projects too. Léttlopi is made from the two different types of fibers found in the double coat of Icelandic sheep, spun together in a way that creates a light and airy yarn. The spinning process involves a looser twist, which helps to create a textured yarn that is also durable. The result is a yarn that feels warm due to the air trapped within the fibers, making it ideal for colder weather garments.
