The Step By Step Sweater is a simple raglan sweater with no complicated techniques, perfect as your first garment knitting project. It has a relaxed fit and two options for the neckline.
This sweater also has an associated video demonstrating all the tricky steps in the knitting process. 

Materials Needed:

Yarn enough to suit your size and desired fit. We are more than happy to help you in order to make sure you have enough for your sweater.  Tested and true yarns:

Sirdar Jewelspun, Highland Alpaca Worsted, Haynes Creek Aran, Vintage or Estelle Worsted

Additional Supplies:

• Tapestry needle
• Circular needles in sizes: 4.5mm & 5.5mm in 16" & 32"

Patterns Provided:

• Step by Step Sweater by Florence Miller

Recommended Supplies:

• Knitting Needles: KnitPro Dreamz or ChiaoGoo

Skill Level:

Confident Beginner: Perfect for your first sweater. You have made a few items and are ready to move into the world of sweater knitting. You know how to knit, purl, increase and decrease and cast on and bind off. Now unravel the mystery of sweater knitting. 

Class Notes:

• Preparation: Be sure to come prepared and ready to start the class when you arrive. If you'd like help with yarn selection and supplies, drop by the shop in advance, and we'll be happy to assist.
• Evening Classes: If the class is held in the evening, note that the shop closes at 5:00 PM. Someone will be there ~10 minutes before class starts to open up for the evening.
