August 2026 Calendar 🐑

Lots happening in the shop as we gear up for the busiest time of year around here. That’s not to say it hasn’t been a busy summer, and we’re not done yet!

🐑 The 2026-27 Class season is coming! Expect an announcement mid-August in your email, with links to register online or in store.

🐑 Two brand new Have you any Wool colours added to the Fairy-tale Sock collection, and the whole collection is restocked. They go SO FAST! So come in soon, if you want one (or all) of the collection.

🐑 New products in store, including Sirdar Loveful Bio Blend, Cascade Anchor Bay Cotton-Merino blend, and Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn.

Events and Special Days at the Shop

A few special days and invitations here this month:

🐑 Come by any Sunday, between 1 and 3, for a casual knit-along. You can work on your Antipodes colour fade sweater, the Noro colour fade cowl and mits, or anything you have on the hooks or needles. We had an impromptu movie day last week, with popcorn and everything!

🐑 TBF Knit Night continues on Thursday night, from 5-8pm. Everyone is welcome! The coffee pot is always on, even if it’s decaf.

🐑 See Cathy at the Cocagne Country Colours festival, the first weekend of August. We will have yarn, looms to play with, and blank yarn for you to dye while you’re there.

🐑 We will be announcing the new 2026-27 Class schedule soon! Expect an email around the middle of the month with details and links to register online (or you can still come into the shop to register).

⭐️ Joyeux quinzou! Acadian Heritage day is on a Saturday this year. We’ll be here!

In order to make sure that we can continue to offer safe, satisfying, and consistent class experiences at Three Bags Full, we have some community guidelines we follow. Before enrolling, please familiarize yourself with the following policies.

Our instructors are excited about sharing their favourite fibre art (or arts) with you; we are proud of the warm and inviting spaces we have prepared for your arrival, and we are confident that the projects and lessons you will work on will support you in this sometimes scary process of learning a whole new craft or levelling up a difficult skill.

And you’ve taken the leap! You’ve looked at all of the classes we have available this term, and you’ve found one that you’d like to take in a time you have available. The hardest part is done, some might say.

Now you have some homework to do before class starts. Take a look at the checklist below and make sure you are ready, so that you can get the most out of your TBF class experience.

New Brunswick Pattern Designer and Author, Julie Ann Lebouthillier, is Launching her Next Book.

Julie’s newest pattern book, “Knit a Box of Christmas Socks,” is already available to purchase in store and online, at Three Bags Full, but the party won’t start until July 25th at noon - here at 303 Mountain Road, in Moncton, NB. And you’re invited!
